Pros

Fm45-g costs much less than a comparably sized arb or dometic unit. Powerful yet relatively quiet compressor cools quickly and efficiently. Only drawback is that the compressor is not completely silent.

Whynter remembers for us. When ref senses 10. Amazon has many choices. Stay tuned.

Cons

It no longer cools. I suspect it has a temperature 'high limit' switch which turns off at a certain temp.

This is a heavy and bulky item and there is a considerble distance between their dropping point and the door they were supposed to use. Its by the dumpster at boot key harbor city marina.

The albatross is dead. These units seem to only last one year and, as if they have a timer, die with no real warning. Won't work on 12v or 110. I want my lifepo4 batteries cut off at 12.

Customer support isnonexistent. There was no way to reach out to the manufacturer. Will have to talk to customer service.

Jose was kind enough to extend the warranty for one month and offered to begin the shipping process.

Shipping damaged the fridge a bit, got a replacement sent out.

Purchased july 2022 and used for 2-week off-grid camping trip.

A chest freezer that only runs on 110v (lacking 12v operation) is about a fifth the price and twice the capacity.
