Pros
Wigwam 40 degree socks are the finest i have ever worn. They are thick and best worn with casual shoes or athletic shoes. The wool is not scratchy and they stay up.
Wigwam is a brand i've trusted for years. I have recently purchased more of them, not because the others have failed, none have. But, so far they are good.
Cons
The product doesn't have software to support,i mean it's very difficult to navigate through this device. Very dissatisfied. For the cost these are a rip off!
Sock is not very thick or cushioned but is very soft. They leave black fibrous lint over all my other clothes. Elastic @ top of socks is horrendous, always falling down. Wearing fast and pilling badly.
No significant temperature difference for my feet than any other warm sock. Does not keep feet warm as promised. Feet become wet from sweat. Jb fields icelandic 40 below are very thin and not warm.

Amazing quality, great fit and because of my chemo induced neuropathy these socks keep my feet warm :)
It was a little late getting here but only to be expected with the holidays.

Very warm and well-made socks at a good price.
They probably are not as warm as the warmest smartwool, but they will be around a lot longer.
I wanted to pass along info on a -40 boot sock i found about 5 years ago in an attempt to find something more durable than smartwool.
