Pros

Light, compact ruler fits neatly into a working apron. Each joint unfolds with a positive click, and stays open or closed very well. It measures at the very start of the ruler where some do not. Itunfolds to a full meter.

I appreciate the way it folds up compactly. Seems like you would need to be somewhat careful while folding and unfolding since fasteners holding pieces together are some type of plastic. It folds up nicely and carries easily in a pants pocket.

Constant soaking in water hasn't hurt it or corroded the hinges. Con feels and behaves like vinyl.

Wiha makes great tools. I strongly recommend it for personal use or as a gift. Very useful tool. I work as a professional clam havester and need to ensure my catch is of legal size.

It's easy to read, easy to pop into a pocket, it clicks into open positions well, and is really well constructed. Helpful for sliding into my pocket for trips to the home center to purchase materials. A handy tool to have in the pouch/apron.

At this price, i'm putting one in every bag and drawer and wherever else i can find one.

I wasn’t sure if it was worth 10 bucks but it went to over $16 overnight and is definitely not worth 16 bucks.

I knew this and took a chance on the folding rule, thinking that for the price it couldn't be too big a disappointment.

Lee valley has them without the wiha logo for eight bucks

Packaging/appearance

This little ruler is very light and folds into a nice package, so it fits neatly into my working apron.

I do wish they would arrive white not yellow but i still think they are swell.

Its a lot smaller than i expected (compared to traditional mason's wood stick tape).
