The material is synthetic but soft and non-irritating to my skin. The elastic strap is relatively soft/comfortable and attaches via velcro. Lightweight, lasts forever and very comfortable.

The mask is made of a thick material - think stiffened neoprene. Over time and use the glue must have lost its resolve. This thing is in worse condition than most things i throw away or recycle.

This is just about the most poorly made sleep mask i have ever seen. It really deserves a minus 4-star rating.
