They're larger, like the package says 6in each. But who cares as long as my toddler loves it. Hit with the grandkids, 6 &3. Great detail and color and the size is perfect for my 1 and 4 year old.

Almost all of the creatures look incredibly realistic, with the exception of the lobster. Most are hollow, but they are sturdy enough for inexpensive animal toys. The crab is the biggest animal, the same length as the whales.

These toys spend quite a bit of time in the bathtub and the paint has yet to chip or crack. Soaked them in some baking soda and vinegar for a little while and then rinsed and no odor afterwards.

Buy them, you wont be disapointed. My only complaint is how off the sizes are. I wish the sizes were more proportional.

The shark, the orca and the dolphin are equipped with what i can only describe as shrewd whistles from * aka, squeakers. The blue squid is the favorite out of the bunch. All but the octopus and stingray float.

This is bad quality for a company that usually delivers good products. Pvc has such harmful effects on the reproductive system of kids that it should not be used in any event, especially not in the bath.
