It is much better to catch then a synthetic ball and furthermore it performs much better in wet conditions as the leather takes in the water whereas synthetic balls are all but impossible to grip and throw i dont ever recommend exposing the leather ball to water unless of course its game day and you have no choice

Nothing wrong with the ball at all but the first time it got wet i guess the die they use for the leather all came off and turned everything it touched pink
