Pros & Cons

Update Pros and Cons

Pros

Worked very well and saves the back from all of that bending over. Sturdy and light makes it just right. For a cheap basket, it is great.

Great hopper, the lid has a larger hole opening so if you lay it on it's side it will leak tennis balls in your trunk. Only downside seems to be that it's a little tricky for one person to lock the legs in place while holding the hopper up.

Luckily it's farily simple to put together. Assembled in 3 minutes.

Cons

Go get the gamma version instead. Once this goes, they’re useless. Do not buy.

There is a metal strut welded to the side of the basket which holds the arms on. The welding is very poor and through standard use, lasts less than two months.

If you just need it to stand and never intend to fold the legs into a handle it works (although even still is a bit wobbly) good luck since it cant be done without a good deal of wrangling. It looks like you're causing damage as you assemble it.

Quality

The product is with good quality and easy to use.

It holds all seven of our tennis rackets- just close the lid, and slide the tennis racket upside down into one of the slots.

Moving the handles in and out of the clips is a pain and fills me with overwhelming rage for the 10 seconds it takes to complete the task.

The hopper isn’t even half full and it’s holding 32 balls.

Price

It's good for the price, but leaves a lot to be desired.

Kinda expensive, but so is everything else these days.

Packaging/appearance

This one comes flat packed and has to be assembled.

The lid doesnt stay on very well but a small complained vs how nice it is to pick up and how tall it is when its standing

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

After weeks of picking up balls by hand i came to realize the most physical part of my practice was getting the balls

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

My back would hurt from bending over again and again

Then i purchased a wilson ball hooper

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Heres my review after using it for a monthpros holds over 75 balls which is great cuts down on time picking up balls tall height when standing upright makes ball pick up easy slimmer design takes up less storage space than my old hoppercons lid doesnt seal tightly so balls leak out if tipped over in trunk locking legs are cumbersome to use compared to autolocking models assembly required out of the box which was mildly annoying get what you paid for basket is cheaply made so not sure how long it will last with constant usage

I just need to be careful not to tip it when transporting

And while the nonauto locking legs are somewhat inconvenient its a minor issue
