Use it primarily to hold peices to * weld and as a grinding holder. Swivels around 100 degrees, which has been incredibly useful for sanding and angle grinding. Used daily at welding table and any other clamping/holding need.

The only real complaint i have is that i saw a bit of rust on the back end of the sleeve the main screw threads into, under the u-channel.

Only drawback is possibly that i overhang the vise from my bench to clamp long rods extending to the floor and i have to swivel the vice to one side to get clearance. Feels beefy (what vise wouldn't?

Overall very pleased with this buy. It's not junk, and it's not $400. The lifetime warranty is the major selling point. Very satisfied looking to purchase another one.

My new vise was damaged in shipment. I know it’s heavy, but imagine how badly manhandled to bend the main handle/crank like that.
