This ones purple connecting ring actually holds the tip in place unlike the lime green cheaper model i bought previously

It took a could of tries to get it to work correctly but once i did the results were good

Ignore the instructions which say not to put a piping bag on the unused coupler

Put one on but tie it off just above the coupler

The only think i didnt like was that when i tried a twocolor swirl the opening left by not having a third color allowed some of the icing to be pushed back out of the coupler

And finally it can be hard at first to figure out how the three pieces connect in the coupler
