Pros

Spritz cookies are a requirement for christmas in my husband's family. I typically make 8 batches of spritz and each batch is 3 half sheet pans full. This cookie press is just fabulous.

Cons

This is the second time i have been scammed by amazon itself. I will be returning it to the store and borrowing my mom's 35 year old press that still works like a charm.

As soon as the pushing plate comes in contact with the dough, it squeals and slows down to almost a stop. The only redeeming quality is the fact that i can use the metal templates to press designs into the dough before baking.

This cookie press is underpowered and overweight. The press has zero power. It sounds like it's dying with each press. Maybe the battery power is not strong enough?

My press is really old - perhaps wilton changed manufacturers and the product is not as reliable as it once was.

Bought this at a second hand store for $8.
