When you cut the cake, it is likely you'd spill the water on your cake. They are useless.

They do create holes where you stick them, but that's the price you pay for beautiful flowers arranged in a very sanitary way.

They seemed a little expensive for what you get, especially with shipping, but it was worth it.

I find them quite useful when putting together a bouquet of sugar flowers and sticking it into the cake.
Was able to arrange 2-3 stems into each and keep the flowers completely off the cake.

I wasnt able to find any white ones in craft stores and the green ones are too long for a normal cake thickness
