One of my pet peeves over the years is one of design flaws. Do not buy - very cheaply made, and not worth the $6 purchase price.
This is a big noooo for milk steaming because we all know if the milk passes 155-160f, it would start to taste really bad. It now says room temp is about 200 degrees, lol.

This item is well made and easy to read.
This thermometer is easy to read and seems more accurate than the set temperature on our kitchen aid oven.
It was identical to one that had stopped working.
It has confirmed that our oven runs hot, so for the first time since using this oven, our baked goods are cooking out properly cooked.
Price
This one had a great price as i checked around.
Still, that's a small price to pay for the ability to properly cook your food.

It took another 15 minutes to come to 450.
