One drawback is that the thermometer has a very narrow field of view of the temperature readout. I know it's only a 1 dial, but wished the numbers were a little bigger or in bold.

This is a big noooo for milk steaming because we all know if the milk passes 155-160f, it would start to taste really bad. It now says room temp is about 200 degrees, lol.

This thermometer is easy to read and seems more accurate than the set temperature on our kitchen aid oven.
These are great and we use them in the camper to monitor the ac and the small electric cooler we have.
