Our dishwasher died and we have not yet replace it and while i am confident this would clean beautifully in a dishwasher it was pretty hard to clean by hand

Honestly though a onelayer very fine strainer would probably work fine and is a lot easier to clean

Got it at first for almond milk making because im a lazy mf and dont want to squeeze it thru a bag but it wont like fit in any of my pots for me to just sit it there
