Pros & Cons
Pros
Heavy, seems durable. Pan feel sturdy and durable.
An old-fashioned curly-steel scrubber is the best way to clean a pan. It is quick and easy to clean and even heating due to its wall thickness. It can also be used to clean pots and pans, as well as pans and pans.
It seasons just like cast iron, but is thin enough that you can handle it like a triply or aluminum pan. After seasoning it, it is just fantastic. Seasoning a pan is a whole complicated subject unto itself.
It can create a sort of nonstick coating that works well enough with some types of foods.
Cons

I'm very happy with the pan & can't wait to whip up new recipes with it.
I expected a somewhat low quality pan due to the low price.

Price

Shipping
You will have to scrub the pan to remove the shipping coating and then season the pan entirely yourself.
Packaging/appearance
After that, cool it down, wipe the excess oil and you're set - fully non-stick).
Competitiveness
Love winco products for both their price and quality!
I scrubbed it clean with a scotch-brite green scouring pad and 91% isopropyl alcohol, and that did remove the varnish.
But once that's done, you now have a great french style made-in-spain fry-pan.
