Pros
No muss, no fuss, no sore fingers and/or flying corks. Works great for cracking pecans. Doesn't rust and is dishwasher safe.
Cons
Throw it in the dishwasher and get away with it. Poor quality. Also had to contact customer service to get a refund. It is slippery and will not grip a nut at all.
Hinge is weak and flimsy so the whole thing pivots when trying to crack larger nuts. Not stout enough metal to crack a pecan.
