This thing is awesome. This is exactly what i expected. Fantastic, it works great! Works great, good quality. Big time.

Ceramics do a good job for fancier stainless allows but anything under 62 hrc should respond well to this if it had some ductility. It fits me just fine, even if it doesn't fit the drawer. It is the cheapest i've ever bought of it's kind.

Winco k-14s fulfill our needs. I have some kukri, machetes, and otherwise long knives that need a massive rod like this one. My knives are sharper than ever.

I got the honing steel, and after a week of use learned how to angle the blades and quickly recondition my santuko and other knives.

Price

Ended up buying the 14in because it was around $3 cheaper than the 12in.

Bought it here but from this supplier at a lower price but they are no longer listing this item at that price.

Packaging/appearance

The steel was loose in a cobbled together homemade box and arrived sticking 5 inches through the side of the box.

Worst packing job i have ever received on a product i ordered through amazon.

I was little shocked at the packaging.
