The hinge is small enough that the ball of my hand tends to get pinched when i'm using these. After 3 uses the spring is tired and the tongs stay half closed. Not even usable unless a spend some time with pliers to straighten them.

These tongs are not what they use to be. They feel light and cheaply made and the spring isn't to sturdy. They are very flimsy.
