This is a lie and this seller should be taken off of amazon. This is falsely advertised as walnut. Wasted my money on this, should have bought the copper one.

Please do not use this for muddling your favorite cocktails. This is cheaply made and gets ruined if someone mistakenly puts it in the dishwasher.

The muddler works well and is a good size but the stain comes off/wipes off when wet. Don't be cheap and buy this item, spend a few dollars more for a quality non-lacqueredmuddler.

The finish on the muddler i received is very dull and seems like it might almost come off. Not a lacquer. There was no lacquer on the wood, just the badly-applied stain. It looks stained only and not lacquered.
