Pros

Has worked flawlessly for 2 years now. Can't beat the price on amazon for this oem copy. No compatibility issues, rock solid, does everything i ask of it, work or play. Good alternative to the windows 8 headache.

Cons

The seller says they have it, but they don't. Oem stands for orignal equipment manufacturer but that doesn't mean microsoft. I believe amazon is a partner of fraudulent sales.

Super duper lame. Windows 7 reminds me of nothing so much as windows 3. W7 is atrocious. Windows 8 just gets in the way, especially on an ordinary desktop-mouse-keyboard combo.

Windows hangs on update. Even though they tell you that you can use the compatibility mode, it's a lie. This product has severe problems when loaded onto certain hardware configurations.

User has to go in and manually delete old files when backups fail due to insufficient disk space. Half of those that do work essentially require reapplication for license privileges. No more windows explorer, either.

What they have in place of winexp is a piece of junk. It can only be installed on one computer. To fix the problems caused by trying to load the software is highly technical. It gives an error message saying that the disc can't be run in the computer.... Read More

I am happy with the price of this oem and the fact i didn't have to return it after all.

I've had really good communication with the retailer for this product to be send another disc (w/o the key code, of course) at no charge.

Hated windows 10 pro so bad with the constant forced updating every 2.

However, i was unable to validate the product key using my computer to activate.

Shipping

I received the product in a couple days with the expedited shipping paid.

I ordered this on the 15th and paid the extra one day shipping for $3.

Packaging/appearance

The instalation was smooth and the product key worked perfectly
