I have just purchased a second one since my first one died after five years of rough duty in seattle no mean feat as every other umbrella i owned before moving there broke in a month or two

The shedrain design means that the umbrella does not get destroyed at the first strong gust of wind

Its quite confused me is that umbrella cannot be completely open when you press the automatic button you have to open it by your hand in the final movement

My wife the first time she used it was hit with a big gust of wind and the umbrella flipped open in the reverse but it did not break the umbrella

Each time it was not irreparably damaged but i found it disturbing that an umbrella advertised as being able to withstand wind should do that

I live in europe now where this brand does not sell and i am ordering two from us amazon and paying custom duties and taxes but i dont care
