Not made for 8 foot ceiling if you want max 36 inch height from the stove surface

The shroud should be 19 inches and not 22 to accommodate an 8 foot ceiling with desired max 36 clearance height

Be advised you need to run an extension cord into the ceiling to a regular wall outlet

So i was able to make a hole in my ceiling next to the crown molding and notch the molding to disguise the cord

I was hesitant to order this because of claims that other people got the item damaged showing the bottom hood panel creased in a picture
