Pros

Pleased again. They are fantastic. It is good. Beautiful coloring. It smells like real wood.

The one we received has a flawless expresso finish. It's very sturdy. A minor quibble is that one of the side slats was a little crooked.

It’s an expensive ikea quality shelf. And it matches with the rest of my chocolate/mocha bookcases.

Opposite side of wood is prettier if you like grain detail. Lightweight enough to be moved around the house easily.

Cons

There were scratches on the edge of one of the shelves. The second has two counter-sink holes that are not big enough for the supplied screws.
