They have long sleeves on them so that gap between the sleeve and mitten is nonexistent so there is absolutely no snow getting in

The little plastic pieces at the ends of the bungee cords on the mittens fell off the first time a tightened them it was impossible to rethread them so i just tied the ends together so the plastic clasp can’t accidentally come off when we are loosening the wrist bungees

To some people this might be a deal breaker but they are still fully functional just not as pretty with a knot at the end instead of the plastic tab

These seem to do the trick of keeping the water off but the hat is too big and has no way to adjust the fit
