Pros

The pot is extremely strong and made my soup making a breeze. Works great for me for making 1 gallon batches. He's even refrigerated chili right in the insert and there has been no staining or taste imparted to the chili. I make goat cheese and this p... Read More

Lid seats well. As close to seamless on the inside as i can find (they're ground flush) the stainless is a brushed finish, which means you can throw it in the dishwasher without worrying about the finish. In addition, it cleans up beautifully.

Cons

My problem is, it is advertised as 8 quarts. It was advertised as made in the usa.

Sturdy, easy to clean, pretty and useful

Sturdy, bulletproof, used as my primary wax melt pot for candle making.

I did not have to worry about stirring it and it burning on the bottom of the pan.

I put it all in, put the flame on medium and stirred it a half hour later then i put the flame on low and let her ride until dinner.

Shipping

Recieved product prompty and was exactly as advertised very happy.

Arrived just in time for the canning season.

Packaging/appearance

First time, pot arrived damaged due to improper packaging by amazon - there were no air protection between the original and shipping boxes.

Arrived with a substantial dent in the side, but didn't want to go through the hassle of packaging back up to return.
