When using for calls they seem to mute surrounding sounds but as soon as you start to speak the noise suppression stops and all the sounds come through with your voice so it seems more like a muting function than a noise suppression function

In all fairness though my prior set did last me close to 4 years with great sound but i was never able to get the sequence or feel for the functionvolume buttons as i can with this new set
