If you can't afford a pro-controller this will do 95% of the job and is about half the price!
Pros:economic - you can get 2 of these (the zelda ones were cheaper) for the price of a pro controller.
Competitiveness
However, at its normal price of £40 the 8bitdo sn30 pro+ is a better deal.
Son prefers this to the standard switch controllers.

The only reason you would want this over the 8bitdo controller is the ability to wake up the switch from sleep and in that case just go with the official pro controller which comes with hd rumble motion control and amiibo support

Ok on batteries but if you do use it a lot then they run out quickly however changing them while in a game is very fast and you get a flashing red light when it is low

I think the only down side is the fact that is is battery powered and not rechargeable

My only criticism is that it takes a single aa battery instead of having a rechargeable internal battery
