Pros
The backpacks seem to be very sturdy and have plenty of room to add other things. The backpack alone is worth it.
You never know when a disaster might hit or get stranded and need some supplies. It's a good starting point for expansion or extra supply for other emergency kits. You can add to it to custom meet you and your families needs!
I do like the mh food better for flavor.
Cons
There is not enough water to drink or make the food that comes in the backpack for 5 days. You are expected to survive on one entree per day and drink water and milk. It calls for contents to be added to a pan with boiling water in it. Backpack smells... Read More

Definitely packed with the essentials and all the mfg dates were pretty recent.
I read that a lot of people had a problem with the quality of the bag.
