As a classically trained chef, i know anything by wolf is going to be the best. I use this for slow cooking and making casserole when my oven is busy cooking something else. Working on combining recipes and know will love it in the summer hot weather.... Read More

This is an expensive appliance, however, i get sooooo much value from it as i use it weekly. This product is worth the money if you need a multipurpose appliance.

This wolf cooker is large enough to brown and cook a large roast, with plenty of room to add veggies. The sous vide option works perfect my steaks have never been better. Seared pork and also used as crock pot.

Cons

Scratched so easily after only a few uses of being careful. The probe just errors out. The other gripe is the * knob, it sticks out 1. Don't be fooled by the fancy name.

All functions work great and the probe is essential for assuring the proper cooking time of meats.

I completely blew it off, forgot all about it, and came back to perfect soup with no sticking.

These hot spots transfer concentrated heat to the pan, which burns any food or liquid that is in that area.

Price

Obviously, at this price, it really is for serious cooks.

I know it's pricey and i gulped spending so much on a slow cooker but it is absolutely worth it, more versatile than my old slow cooker.

This was a big step for me, since it's abit expensive.

But if price is not an issue, then just get it.

Packaging/appearance

Part of the weight was packaging - very well packed and arrived in great condition.

Assembly & installation: you pull this out of the manufacturer's packaging and give everything that touches food a good hand wash.

Competitiveness

The kitchenaid multicooker does have a stir tower attachment that can be purchased separately which makes it unique to other multicookers.

It's astounding all this can do as compared to anything else on the market!
