Pros

The handle is rosewood making the handle easy to grip. This knife is lightweight and handles well. Very safe handle to blade connection.

The tv chefs look cool sharpening their knives that way. The teeth stay sharp. Comes very sharp and is just heavy enough.

Longer length lets me cut though a large loaf without squishing down the bread. Perfect for slicing sourdough boules. Cuts cold cheese and easily slices large loaves of bread.

Cuts through bread straight and with ne effort. Also cuts through tough european-style rye breads with ease. Knife has a fearsome edge, and also will cut through frozen meats or vegetables like nothing, just use the sawing motion and you will be amaze...  Read More

Quality

The serrations are sharp and it's actually a good-lookong knife with the wood handle.

My only real complaint is that it is not full tang so the blade doesn’t feel balanced with the handle.

This knife seems to be of the same quality.

Price

I couldn’t ask for more - - and this was a very reasonable price too.

That being said, the cheaper fibrox is a better value for sure and probably better performance-wise.

Packaging/appearance

It is so sharp out of the box i could shave my arm with it.

Competitiveness

I’ve always had good luck with victorinox products.

It cuts beautifully--better than my cutco, but i will say the handle has a strong smell at first.

What bliss it was to use this for the first time after struggling with a henkels 7” blade for well over five years!

All my knives have walnut grips which is why i didn't order it with a fibrox grip.
