Pros & Cons

Pros

Made in the usa, these are identical to the allen edmond shoe trees. Large is a little too big for my allen edmond dalton boots in 9. Size xl for mens size 13. Pair of xls fit (and smell) fantastically.

These seem to be a fair compromise between the more expensive varieties (with frilly gold bits) and the cheep ones (where the body doesn't spread or the heel is plastic) the only nit is that the wooden dowel that keeps the split toes pieces can crack....  Read More

Great construction quality, marked left and right. Seem to be well constructed. Appears very well made and i am very pleased.

Do yourself and your shoes a favor and invest in a few pairs of these. I have a few shoe trees from amazon, and they're all fine. Would definitely recommend.

It's still usable, but once in while, you have to re-align the pieces. Stays are used to keep the shoe in correct form and not start to curl up.

Cons

It's like they took that piece from a medium or large size and just made the brass rod shorter. My first ever disappointment with a,macon. Send me an * large.

Quality

Other than that the quality is great and they work very well.

I am very pleased with this product.

Quality leather shoes should be worn every other day or every third day if possible.

Great construction quality, marked left and right.

Price

For the price, i think these shoe trees are fine and serviceable.

Packaging/appearance

The trees needed a little scuffing out of the box to get the ceder smell started.

Competitiveness

In other words, a great all purpose cedar shoe tree for the price.

I like that these are still made in the usa (in wisconsin).

After that they mark up the price and sell it as their own.

Would maybe try a small next time

I did try the medium trees to see if the fit was a little more relaxed and they barely fit at all

Virtually no tension front to back on the shoe and the toe box was loose

It appears to me as if a lot of other companies who sell shoe trees outsource their production to woodlore and then just put their name on woodlores product

I made the mistake of ordering the wrong size
