Pros & Cons
Pros
Shoe tree fits true to size, its a bit narrow to some extent. The wilbert is a wider last in general and the shoe tree size i choose based on the chart is in-between size so not surprising its just right for one, and just a tad small for the other. Th... Read More
Keeps the leather smooth and prevents any shrinkage. Prevents shoes from becoming creased or damaged during travel or storage.
Overall a keeper. O ly criticism. They are also competitively priced for a 2-pair set.
Size large fits all my dr. Martens / solovair size 10 and all other size 10 shoes. However, the sizing runs a bit smaller than expected. It fits the oxxford better, in terms of width.
Cons
They are flimsy and don't reinforce the shape of the shoes. Large splits and chips in the cedar on the heel and sole of one tree. They’re much less substantial than the full toe with knob versions they sell via allen edmonds.
The differences are just cosmetic on the solid front model. Definite lack of quality control here. Hopefully this can be rectified.
Allen edmonds shoes are too small. Xl not large enough to fill size 13 to edge with any tension. Pair out of 6 are passable.
Highlights
Quality
High quality product that serves the intended purpose.
Shoe tress are a must-have to keep your quality shoes in shape.
Poorly made, lots of wood chipping off and the heel is very skinny pressing in one small area
They were too short and barely had any spring tension to them to hold the shape of the shoe.
Price
Great for the money i would recommend to anyone that wants their shoes to last.
For the price tag, certainly a good choice overall for a shoe tree and the smell of cedar is lovely!
Got what i expected but these are expensive.
For two pair of shoe trees, these were a good price for the quality.
Competitiveness
Not sure if these are the same supplier, but these are of the same design of the shoe trees that florsheim sells directly which... Read More
