Bit Changing Ease

Customers are highly satisfied with the ease of changing bits using this wrench for their table-mounted routers from Porter Cable. The wrench allows them to change bits without moving the router up or down and accessing the table top. Some customers mentioned that it requires removing a plastic ring from the insert plate but still consider it a significant improvement in speed and accessibility. Overall, this wrench is highly recommended for anyone using a router set up in a table.

Quality

The wrench works very easy and its very strong with its design, and does not slip as it has a precise 1 1/8 inch opening to fit the knot.

Well made, a little bit large but necessary to be sturdy enough for the task.

The hole in my router table is 3-1/2" that is rabbeted to 4" to fit my several inserts.

The collet on this older model router requires an 1-1/4" wrench, but that doesn't seem to be available in any of these newer of...  Read More

The collet on this older model router requires an 11434 wrench but that doesnt seem to be available in any of these newer offset wrenches

Of course that made the label on the rubber handle wrong so i cut that off

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Well it turns out that the edges of the handle are really rough under that rubber so i had to do a little cleanup grinding and with that it works fine

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The little screws are an annoyance which has absolutely nothing to do with the wrench except that anytime you are changing the bit you are removing those screws and putting them back in when finished tightening with the wrenches

Some older reviews mentioned the head is too wide over 334

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Wood river must have changed the design head is now 23834

Original pc wrench would stretch not this one
