Ovilla is the dam safest place to live in the dfw metroplex area. The chimes are very pleasing to look at and they are very musical. Both are quite picky in their own rights.

The hanging paddle makes it very modern looking. Not clangy. Just the right size with a deep and lovely tone to the chines.

Quality chimes aren't cheap and you can spend a pretty penny on a nice set. They seem well constructed. Very happy with purchase.

If you try to use the hook upside down under the ugly metal clamp at the top it just looks crooked. There is no way to attach an o ring for hanging as the strings are not long enough to make a loop to attach a hanger.

The striker sits askew on the string and appears to be on upside down. It sounds more like a bunch of bottles clinking than the soothing sound i expected. Now it just makes a clacking sound when the wind moves it.

This chime is 44 long if you count the string, the longest chime tube is 21 inches. The entire thing is 43 inches long. The tubes are very thin and not very long.
