Fairly decent not for very precise work

I have a few mill bits on order too and am anxious to try this out for milling after doing the mod described belowthe vise is very rough out of the box because the slidingmating surfaces are not cleanedsurfaced after machining

I took the whole thing apart and sanded all the slidingmating surfaces with 120 grit sand paper until close to a mirror finish removing all the machining marks and paint that leaked over onto the rails at the factory

The vise operated a lot better afterwards and can be made a lot more precise that way tip this is sold under the name shop fox on the us site with far more reviews some of which mention the mod described above

Ill have to upgrade to a higher drill press with more clearance to accommodate this vise properly
