This is an excellent product if you are looking for a cheaper solution to a dust collection system. It's not totally plug and play, but for the price is great. As long as everything is set up properly.

Especially in the case of very fine drywall dust. Weather stripping and gap filler are pretty common around my place.

When the majority of the dust is just be sent to the dust collector, it defeats the purpose of a 2 stage system.

Half the dust goes to the bucket, half goes straight to clogging my filter. Suction is too powerful for the typical homedepot 5 gallon bucket. Also the hose has to be longer because the bucket is so precarious.

It is prone to dislodging the hose and the lid since it's not on tight even with modifications. The inlet port is not sized to be able to fit 2 in vac parts.
