Customers highly praise the versatility of the Woodstock W1218A Rotacator as a measurement instrument, suitable for various woodworking machines and measuring relative depth with high accuracy. Some users have noted that the directional detents could be more defined.
Adjusting Accuracy
Customers have a generally positive opinion about the adjusting accuracy of the Woodstock W1218A Rotacator. They appreciate its ease of use and high precision for calibrating various power tools such as planers, table saws, jointers, and other precision equipment. However, some customers had issues with the gauge sticking or being loose during usage.
Highlights
Quality
Great tool for various woodworking machines and just measuring relative depth in general.
Strong magnet and multi-position dial indicator are the biggest plus side.
This thing really sticks to the point that it is difficult to move on cast iron tables.
The rotacator is unlike any calibrating tool and hard to try and replicate by trying to rig up a home made contraption.
Price
I paid the money to get the right tool for the job and never looked back.
