Pros
Leather is supple and protects well from scratches and dings. The wool lining provides enough padding so that the ding that happened with my last macbook will be much much less likely to occur.
This case fits my laptop very snuggly. Fits like a glove. It's a pretty snug fit at first, but it'll mold to fit over time.
The quality is fantastic. Looks and feels terrific. If it was for me, i would not mind, however i am a bit picky as a gift.
The quality of the leather is premium, soft and has a soft feel similar to levenger pads. It also has just the right amount of leathery scent. The leather is thick and provides good padding.

Cons
The material is some cheap and very smelly leather type but clearly not genuine good quality and robust leather. The scent it emanates is nauseating. The actual product looks a little flimsy compared to the photos. The stitching is not flawless.

I first considered apples own sleeve which i liked but after some research i realized that i could not charge my mba easily while in the sleeve and also that it was not lined both sides internally — not to mention the 180 price tag
