Pros

I'm an outdoorsman that prefers wool blankets to sleeping bags. My wife, who likes to cocoon up at night, loves it. It isn't itchy like a blended blanket and is nice and soft.

The blankets breathe, are not bulky like comforters, and my small dog sleeps under the covers with no discomfort. It works with different temperatures and you are not forced to add or subtract extra layers.

A hundred bucks for a used, original one is still good value. Lives up the its reputation and the hype. I would unhesitatingly recommend them.

No bedskirt is needed for a nicely finished look. Long enough to use on a twin xl bed. Usually we have to pile on both a quilt and bedspread to keep comfortable.

Awesome blanket, great quality, very cozy & warm.

Its solid and robust yet not too heavy.

There isn't even any reveling at the edges after 50 years of good use.

Before the advent of electric blankets and synthetic “wools”, the only real warmth came from 100% lambs wool blankets.

The only thing i didn't like about the blanket was the price tag.

Next year she gets a new pressure cooker, to amortize the price of christmas- ha!
