Pros

Maintaining an edge can't be more simple. Just glide over the stones and finish each * with the knife point on the stone not sliding off. Once sharp, keeping a keen edge is a breeze.

Simple instruction with great results. The benchstone meets my needs so well! I own about 100 knives ranging from $30- $1,500 and this is the system i use.

Cons

Impossible to sharpen a knife with a ridge in the middle of the course and medium sides. Trying to super glue it back on now, but will probably return it for a refund.
