Pros

For the non-expert, this is the best book for understanding how the war progressed and ended. Very good printing quality. Nice pictures.

The narrative flows with markers on the maps. Helps to locate the action.

Great overview of ww2 from dk/smithsonian.

Cons

Viewing on a typical kindle device (such as an oasis) or smaller screen device will be utterly pointless. Enlarging the display allows reading the text but makes comprehension of the maps impractical. Lots of ink marking up every map in the book.
