Pros & Cons
Pros
This is a must have in any mechanics tool chest. Like stated in the earlier review, it's expensive for what you get, but it's very good to have.
This is the first oil filter wrench that would work for my application. It loosens stubborn filters with ease functions exactly as it should. The only downside is you need to hold the grips in place when ratcheting or it opens up.
Cons
Can’t hand tighten filters on yamaha 4 *. Pulled it out for the first time today and tried to loosen an oil filter in my f250. Return window closed, so now i have a $14 paperweight.
Highlights
Quality
Love this claw over any oil filter wrench, grips nice, does the job every time.
Awesome tool to have to get off oil filters in tight spaces
Position it evenly and it will crush an oil filter before it slips.
The design doesn't allow use to tighten, so the filter won't be impossible to get off without a screwdriver and hammer.
Price
Such a lifesaver for a really affordable price.
