Pros

Wtb 45c riddler is an awesome gravel adventure tire. Wtb rims seem to require wtb tires to easily seal up tubeless so it's a good thing they make quality tires.

It shines in 1/4 inch angular gravel and continues it's useful life up to around 1. Inches. Had a few punctures but live in a flinty area. Great off road feel and cornering traction, which is the true test of gravel tires.

Cornering grip is excellent (better than the xplor msos i had on before). Added sealant and aired up. Seated the bead with an air compressor.

Made the bike about a pound and half lighter and considerably faster. Did a 100k gravel ride and a couple of cyclocross races. Use it on the rear paired with a nano 40 in front for singletrack, gravel rides, or road.

Cons

There were roughly 6-8 tiny pin holes in the brown portion of the sidewall. If you're looking for a cx or gravel tire, look elsewhere.

Just got a pair of clement x'plor msos instead and love them. Not confidence inspiring. Extremely dangerous. Would not recommend.

Tread pattern is great, bead is solid (fits on standard 700c road wheels), seems to roll well.

Good grip and rolls pretty efficiently for what they are.

The next day, the entire rear tire was covered in blisters where the tread had separated from the casing and filled with air and sealant.

The most central portion on mine wore down within a few weeks.

Price

Lastly, for a sub-$60 tire, the riddler is really a great deal.

The price is a bit much though, imo.

Wtb customer service and communication is very good!

Wtb sent me out a second one, and that one had just a couple of the fast sealing pinholes, and nearly zero slow leakers.

Called the retailer in california, he was super helpful gave me mtbs customer service number.

Competitiveness

Next time i might try the michelin power gravel to see how they compare.
