Pros

The wheels appear to be well tensioned, true and round upon arrival. Bearings are super smooth and wheels rotate freely. Ordered these wheels as a secondary set for my 2019 marin mtb.

In this price range these are incredible especially in covid era of shortages. It's a shame they're sold out now.

Cons

The rear is very badly trued. The cassette holder is very crunchy and grinding. Where the seam of the rims meet there is a small gap that allows too much air to escape. The hub only measures 34 something.

I'm impressed with the novatec hubs that may rival shimano equivalent hubs.

The novatec hubs appear to be a very good quality product, fit and finish and quality control are excellent.

2, are in my opinion, subpar for this quality wheel set.

Really wish they were a little cheaper and didn’t come with the tires as i don’t want those.

Price

In this price range these are incredible especially in covid era of shortages.

Packaging/appearance

(plus i got free tubes in the box .

Tear needed a little truing, front was true out of the box, added tubeless tires, sealant, and valve stem.

Competitiveness

Ridden by a 200+lb rider and no issues.

The hubs are good and so far holding up on a 2500w electric bike.

Given the price point, you could take it to a shop and pay for a truing and still come out way ahead of most wheelsets.
