Pros

Despite is black, no stains in my turbo trainer roller (lifeline tt-02 fluid trainer), plus my bike looks awesome (without those weird colors from the other brands) and was cheaper. Yea it looks good and i haven’t noticed any excessive wear.

These are tough tires. These are much fatter than the michelin slicks i had on my 26”.

Once you get the thickslicks rolling, they glide effortlessly and quietly. They somehow have a smoother ride while also seeming to have lower rolling resistance.

Everyone has different criteria for what constitutes a good tire. Item is as advertised.

Packaging/appearance

They came clean white in the box, no issues with packaging like i read in some other reviews.

Take your time, use microfibers and under no circumstances get any moisture inside the tire or on the innertube.

Competitiveness

They roll well and require less pressure 110psi max.

These are much fatter than the michelin slicks i had on my 26”.

No need to buy any of the other specific trainer tires brands.

However, in the rain, gatorskins tend to get a lot more flats than thickslicks.
