Pros
Long presses on the power button change the lighting mode. Double pressing puts it into alerting type strobe mode. Charge lasts quite some time.
C2 diameter is bigger - not a lot bigger, but noticeable when carried in front pocket. The c2 also fits, but its just a bit bulkier. I wish the tip that catches the pocket was angled up more.
Cons
The brightness increase is barely noticeable and too late to return. Dont know if its a defective battery or not. Should not have an issue like this for at least 5 yrs.

Quality
It has quick double press actions as well bringing into strobe mode which can be useful to disorient someone if needed.
This flashlight is well engineered and it shows.
Strobe and sos do not have an hourly rating.
Quickly pressing 4 times again takes it out of locked mode and the light turns on.
Packaging/appearance
Overall it's a bright flashlight in a small package and one that will easily make it into my glove box.
Competitiveness
The brightness on the c2 is great - better than c3 but i find most of the time the c3 is more than bright enough.
Also given that the c2 is also $10 cad more - i just find the c3 better suits my use case.
