Wyze specializes in affordable versions of common home automation staples. This mesh router works great and easy to setup, but they run really hot.
The wyze mesh router performs as i'd expect. The upgrade is vital for it to work with spectrum. Otherwise, the router just works as i would expect. It's definitely still a work in progress that can be improved with software and firmware updates.
The speeds are as high as my isp advertises. I am impressed that a wireless router these days with the supporting device can get almost a gigabit speed. The fast and reliable wi-fi allows me to connect over 20+ devices without any lag or buffering.
This mesh system covers my whole residence. I have continuous coverage throughout my 2 story home, which has primarily thick plaster walls.
