The app is user friendly and there are subscription options but definitely not required. The picture is good and i'm satisfied with it so far. The colored night vision is amazing by the way!
If you need a portable outdoor cam, this one works pretty well. Intermittent connection to front room or outside house.
Wyze is as simple as it gets. The base station is * easy to attach to your router using ethernet cable. Hanging cameras is hardest part because you have to visualize where you want them and then get up on ladder. I connected it to the wyze solar panel... Read More
Cons
The base constantly has to be reset i am now having to reset the base every 3-4 days. Wyze is just junk hardware with junk customer service.
Buy the indoor/outdoor and save yourself from any trouble. This battery operated outdoor unit is just terrible.
Truthfully, i am not sure that wyze offers a quality product to begin with. The instructions provided were convoluted and poorly explained. They have lousy customer service and will cheat you.
