Pros

The included cord is nice and long. Even overcast days it charges. It is summer and hot in the southern usa and there has been little to no clouds or rain the couple weeks i have had this.

The wyze app makes this camera shine a over the competition! It is super easy to install. The new night vision technology is amazing. But initial setup. Seems reasonably well made.

Wireless battery operated. Use them for the nursery in the we when the baby is here. You can share them with someone so they can keep an eye on your house and head over if they see something wrong or a package delivered.

The color night vision comes if there's a faint light and that's my problem. Motion detection has a lot of room for improvement and you pay a subscription for each camera on your system. The audio is decent.

Cons

Software is where this product fails. They make a decent device in terms of hardware but their firmware falls flat. This is the most disappointing wyze product i’ve owned.

I was never offered a suggestion or directions on how to playback recordings. Downloading event recordings never completes. Customer service is unable to resolve download issues.

No need for ir/night vision. There was also confusion about pir area.

Camera came charged to about 20% and by the end of the first day with the optional solar panel charger the battery was full.

Competitiveness

I already had a wyze indoor camera and this was very simple to add so that i can view both cameras at the same time.

Update: a wyze customer service supervisor contacted me and offered a reasonable settlement toward replacing the camera system.
