They are the most dependable little cams for the money. Other wise they are good to go. For what they are and the price -they are great - but be warned.

Picture quality on hd setting is great. Picture quality is very usable and pretty clear. Sound and picture quality is phenomenal!

Cons

If you own a v1 cam, it is still vulnerable and will not be patched. Now they all show errors or offline, no firmware updates available and are paperweights.

It seems to be a scam to try and make you get a subscription which renews automatically. Very difficult to set up, then spends 90% of its time “offline”.

The quality of pictures and videos day and night is good.

Recording in hd quality, it uses about 9gb per full day of recording.

I only wish that a waterproof power brick came standard with the kit seeing as how the rest of it is already waterproof or resistant.

Price

For what they are and the price -they are great - but be warned.

Depending on what you need, wyze cameras aren't bad.

Plus the motion/person detection on my new system is a lot quicker than wyze.
